IMPACT Certification

All coaches registered with USA Volleyball are required to be IMPACT & SafeSport certified. Below are notes and information regarding this certification process.

Changes For 2017-2018 Season

SafeSport will no longer be included as part of an IMPACT training class.  SafeSport will be a stand-alone training available to members on USAV Academy.

Volleyball athletes have a great sense of self-worth, demonstrate better collaboration skills and maintain healthier peer relationships. Unfortunately, sports, including volleyball can also be a high-risk environment for misconduct, including physical and sexual abuse. All forms of misconduct are intolerable and in direct conflict with the values of USA Volleyball.

Along with all USOC National Governing Bodies, USA Volleyball has adopted the SafeSport program as required education for members.  CEVA requires all adults affiliated with a junior program to take the SafeSport training.  This includes all Club Directors, Club Administrators, Head & Assistant Coaches, Team Reps, Chaperones, Officials, etc.

Ref and Scorer Certification 2017-2018

Referee and scorer training is now available for the 2017-2018 season.

All referee and scorer certification is done online through Webpoint & USAV Academy. Coaches and players must complete certification before their first tournament. CEVA/USA Volleyball members need to register for training through USA Volleyball Webpoint (membership account). Step-by-step directions are included below with a screen shot to guide you.

Power League: How it Works

Power League: How it WorksBrief Overview

Power League is a series of 4 tournaments (5 for 14s) hosted by the CEVA Region. There is a qualifying tournament in January, followed by three place-earning tournaments through April. The up or down movement of a team in each tournament will determine the final team finish in Power League.

CEVA Blue Ribbon Club Program

CEVA started the Blue Ribbon Club program last year. It is a voluntary, incentive-based program, that has been designed to begin to address a number of areas the CEVA staff have identified that will help continue to grow Junior Girls’ volleyball in the region in a positive and forward-thinking manner.
