IVHF Inducts Nine in 2025 Class
HOLYOKE, MA (10/18/2025) – The International Volleyball Hall of Fame officially inducted their 2025 class of 9 athletes, coaches, and officials on Saturday night during their Induction Celebration in Holyoke, MA.
The class represented 8 countries from around the world – Bulgaria, Serbia, Peru, Italy, Germany (2), Australia, Argentina, and the United States. It included 6 players, a coach, a referee, and an inductee in the ParaVolley category. Since 1978, the Hall has inducted 185 of the game’s greats.
The Induction Ceremony was attended by over 200 guests, which included dignitaries from FIVB, NORCECA, several volleyball confederations, and local VIPs. During the event, the FIVB and the IVHF signed a historic MOU “to strengthen cooperation in honoring and promoting volleyball legends, recognizing outstanding contributors to the sport, and preserving the global history of volleyball.” Through this new partnership, the FIVB and IVHF will enhance collaboration, with the IVHF recognized as the sole international hall of fame within the global volleyball community. The two organizations will also explore opportunities for events and initiatives celebrating volleyball’s history to promote the sport and grow the Global Volleyball Movement. (Source: IVHF)
The IVHF is primarily a volunteer-driven organization, with an active Board and several committees. The Hall remains the authority on the preservation of volleyball’s history and is at the forefront of the growth of the sport across all disciplines. Learn more about the IVHF on their website.
Each year, a delegation from CEVA joins others from USA Volleyball to attend the festivities in Holyoke. CEVA’s Executive Director, Cody March, is a member of the IVHF Board of Directors.
