Adult Indoor Memberships (26-27 Season)

26-27 CEVA ADULT COACH OF JUNIORS ($60 + CC FEE)

  • Ideal for coaches who are participating with a juniors’ team (boys or girls)
  • Can be purchased starting on 8/4/2026, and will be valid for participation as a coach in all CEVA & USAV events as of 9/1/2026 if eligibility requirements are met.
  • Separate background screen ($14 + CC fee for domestic screen), Safesport, and IMPACT certifications are required.

  • Ideal for adults participating with juniors’ teams but not in a coaching capacity (team chaperones, team managers, etc.), club board members/administrators with no coaching roles, and professional officials who are not otherwise involved with a club.
  • Can be purchased starting on 8/4/2026, and will be valid for participation in all CEVA & USAV events as of 9/1/2026 if eligibility requirements are met.
  • Separate background screen ($14 + CC fee for domestic screen) and Safesport certifications are required.

Junior Summer Memberships

Allows for participation as a junior player from May 1st through August 31st and is not upgradeable to a full season membership.  Individuals in this category are not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, JNC, National Team Development Program teams/camps, etc.).

Important Notices:

  • Membership purchases are non-refundable.
  • All memberships incur a 2.95% credit card processing fee.
  • Background screening fees are separate purchases not included in membership costs. They also incur a 2.95% credit card processing fee.

Charges at Checkout

A membership purchase will be separated into different charges at check-out, and those charges will total the cost of the membership displayed on this page (plus a 2.95% credit card surcharge). On your receipt, you may see a CEVA portion of the membership, and a USAV portion of the membership. They are the same single membership, with costs split out showing the funds that go to CEVA and USAV separately.

Policy on Declined Charges

When CEVA receives notice of a declined transaction for a membership purchase, the member will be suspended from participation until the membership is fully paid for.

FAQ

The region only registers participants with USA Volleyball, meaning when you take a membership, you become a member of USAV and CEVA.  This does not automatically associate you with a club, any other region, or any other governing body.

Junior players are strongly encouraged to purchase a tryout membership.  Why?  Simply put – because memberships are non-refundable, if the player doesn’t make a team at tryouts, the family is only out $20, not the full $70.  If the player makes a team, the $20 you spend for the tryout membership can be applied to the cost of the full-season membership (you’ll only pay $50 to upgrade to a full-season membership from a tryout membership).  All participants at tryouts must have a membership. 

When you purchase a membership, you’ll see two separate charges on your card and get two separate receipts.  Part of the membership fee goes to CEVA, part goes to USA Volleyball.  The two charges are showing those funds separated.  You’re not being charged twice for the same thing – the charges totaled together equal the total cost of the membership (less credit card processing fees).  You are not paying anything to your club when you purchase a membership.  Contact your club for details about club dues.  

Junior players who are 18, or who turn 18 prior to 8/31/26 must complete Core Safesport Training prior to participation beyond tryouts.  This is a USAV policy that CEVA must enforce.  Make sure to take the “Junior Player – Safesport Required” membership.

Background screens can take up to 10 days to clear.  Submit them promptly.  CEVA doesn’t control the cost of screens, nor the speed of them.  Fees for background screens are not paid to CEVA.  Questions should be directed to NCSI’s support center.  

USAV Domestic Background Screening – $14.00.  Required of all adults affiliated with junior programming.  Valid through the end of the USAV season (August 31st). 

International Background Screening – Prices Vary.  Required of adults who lived outside the US for 6 months or more in the last 7 years.  Cost of a domestic background screen may be added to the cost of the international screen. Valid through the end of the USAV season (August 31st).
