Age Groups & Playing Dates

• April 24-25, 2027 – Girls 12s, Girls 14s
• May 1-2, 2027 – Girls 16s, Girls 18s, Girls Open

All teams will play on both days of the tournament and will play at least five matches.

Facilities

This tournament utilizes two facilities – the Portland Expo Center (in North Portland) and Olympus Sports Center (in Hillsboro). Teams are not guaranteed to be playing at the same facility on both days. Criteria for facility assignments generally will revolve around attempting to ensure all teams play in the Expo Center on at least one day, and “Gold” brackets from each flight being in the Expo Center on the second day of each weekend. While these aren’t “hard and fast” rules, they will be considered when the schedule is being built. Not all teams are guaranteed to play in the Expo Center and not all Gold brackets are guaranteed to be in the Expo Center.

Registration & Seeding

When teams register for Regionals, they are expressing an interest in participation. Registration does not guarantee acceptance. Acceptance is based on Power League finishes. Power League finishes for accepted teams don’t necessarily equate to a Regionals seed. Some teams do not participate in Regionals, meaning seeds may be adjusted upward. Seeds may also be adjusted for non-payment of entry fees or non-payment of dues by clubs.

This is a USAV-sanctioned tournament.  All participants must be fully eligible USAV members.

Athletic Training

• Athletic trainers will be available at the Portland Expo Center beginning at 7:30 AM on tournament days.
• Players wishing to be taped must supply their own tape and pre-wrap. Tape will not be sold – it must be provided by the player.
• Trainers are not available for rehab or prehab activities.
• EMTs are on site at Portland Expo Center for medical emergencies.
• Coaches must carry first-aid kits

Payment Schedule

Payments are not accepted until teams have mathematically qualified for the tournament, and will not be accepted until after registration closes (February 28). All payments must be received by April 15, 2027 (except for teams who qualify on the last weekend of Power League)

Cancellation Policy

• Between 2/28/2027 at 3:00 PM and 3/27/2027 at 3:00 PM, teams who have qualified for the tournament that cancel their registration are responsible for 50% of their team entry fee.
• After 3/27/2027 at 3:00 PM, teams who have qualified for the tournament that cancel their registration are responsible for 100% of their team entry fee.

Waitlists

Teams who do not qualify for the tournament based on their Power League ranking will be placed on a waitlist. The waitlist is populated in the following order:

• Group 1 – teams who registered by the deadline who didn’t qualify based on their Power League ranking
• Group 2 – teams who registered by the deadline, but who did not participate in Power League.
• Group 3 – teams who failed to register by the deadline, but participated in Power League.
• Group 4 – teams who failed to register by the deadline and who did not participate in Power League.

Non-CEVA teams are not accepted in this event.

Schedule Release Date

Schedules will be released on SportWrench by 3:00 PM on the Tuesday prior to the tournament. Please continue to check SportWrench after schedules are released in case anything changes.

Rosters

All teams must present a legal copy of their SportsEngine “Season Management” roster to the tournament director at the coaches’ meeting prior to the tournament. Teams are not required to upload a roster to SportWrench. An example of a legal roster is found here.

Uniforms

All uniforms must have numbers on the front and back, and liberos must have a contrasting uniform. Uniforms must meet USAV rule book standards. Teams should not wear glitter or any materials that may get on equipment or the floor.

SportWrench

SportWrench is the official indoor event management platform of CEVA. It is used for registrations and scheduling of all indoor events in the region. All registration and payments are done via SportWrench. CEVA does not have access to a club’s individual SportWrench account. Clubs are responsible for their own account management, registrations, and SportWrench use.

Purple Card Policy

The CEVA Purple Card Policy is in effect at all CEVA-owned tournaments.

Solicitation Policy

Promotion of third-party interests is prohibited at CEVA-owned events.  This includes, but is not limited to, distribution of any promotional materials, personal solicitation, vehicle papering, selling merchandise, etc.   If solicitation occurs without written permission of CEVA, violators will be sanctioned and/or prosecuted.
