CEVA JUNIOR PLAYER FULL-SEASON MEMBERSHIP ($70) – CLICK HERE

Allows for participation as a junior male player in all USAV & CEVA sanctioned events on a boys’ team.  Boys that participate on a girls’ team must take the “Junior Player” membership for $70.

Adult Indoor Memberships

CEVA ADULT COACH OF JUNIORS ($60) – CLICK HERE
Should be selected by all adult coaches of juniors, even if they are participating in other roles. Allows for participation in all USAV/CEVA sanctioned events. The participant must successfully pass a background screen, be SafeSport trained and complete IMPACT prior to participation. Membership is valid from 9/1/2025 through 8/31/2026.

CEVA ADULT LIMITED MEMBERSHIP ($45) – CLICK HERE
Allows for participation in non-coach roles in all USAV/CEVA sanctioned events.  The participant must successfully pass a background screen and be SafeSport trained prior to participation.  Coaches should choose the “coach” specific membership to be eligible.  Membership is valid from 9/1/2025 through 8/31/2026.

CEVA COLLEGIATE PLAYER MEMBERSHIP ($18) – CLICK HERE
Allows for those attending college to participate as a player only. Collegiate players, who also wish to coach, officiate or assume other roles, may need to take a different membership. Please consult the CEVA office (503-644-7468) with questions

CEVA ADULT PLAYER MEMBERSHIP ($35) – CLICK HERE
Allows for participation as a player only in all adult USAV/RVA sanctioned events. This membership is not for adults who are involved with juniors programming as a coach, official, or team manager.

CEVA ADULT ONE-EVENT PLAYER MEMBERSHIP ($15) – CLICK HERE
Allows for participation in a player only in a single USAV/RVA sanctioned event. This membership is not for adults who are involved with juniors programming as a coach, official, or team manager. This membership is valid for 5 days from the start date that is selected at purchase.

Policy on Declined Charges

When CEVA receives notice of a declined transaction for a membership purchase, the member will be suspended from participation until the membership is fully paid for.

FAQ

The region only registers participants with USA Volleyball, meaning when you take a membership, you become a member of USAV and CEVA.  This does not automatically associate you with a club, any other region, or any other governing body.

Junior players are strongly encouraged to purchase a tryout membership.  Why?  Simply put – because memberships are non-refundable, if the player doesn’t make a team at tryouts, the family is only out $20, not the full $70.  If the player makes a team, the $20 you spend for the tryout membership can be applied to the cost of the full-season membership (you’ll only pay $50 to upgrade to a full-season membership from a tryout membership).  All participants at tryouts must have a membership. 

When you purchase a membership, you’ll see two separate charges on your card and get two separate receipts.  Part of the membership fee goes to CEVA, part goes to USA Volleyball.  The two charges are showing those funds separated.  You’re not being charged twice for the same thing – the charges totaled together equal the total cost of the membership (less credit card processing fees).  You are not paying anything to your club when you purchase a membership.  Contact your club for details about club dues.  

Junior players who are 18, or who turn 18 prior to 8/31/26 must complete Core Safesport Training prior to participation beyond tryouts.  This is a USAV policy that CEVA must enforce.  Make sure to take the “Junior Player – Safesport Required” membership.

Background screens can take up to 10 days to clear.  Submit them promptly.  CEVA doesn’t control the cost of screens, nor the speed of them.  Fees for background screens are not paid to CEVA.  Questions should be directed to NCSI’s support center.  

USAV Domestic Background Screening – $14.00.  Required of all adults affiliated with junior programming.  Valid through the end of the USAV season (August 31st). 

International Background Screening – Prices Vary.  Required of adults who lived outside the US for 6 months or more in the last 7 years.  Cost of a domestic background screen may be added to the cost of the international screen. Valid through the end of the USAV season (August 31st).
