Officials Recognition Program

Recognize officials for their dedication to our region and our events.
Bring exposure to those officials who do their jobs without complaint and who work well with tournament directors, coaches, players, and staff.
Recognize officials who prioritize regional events and make themselves available to support our membership, particularly when there are conflicting and/or competitors’ events at the same time.

Only actions at CEVA-owned or CEVA-sanctioned events will be recognized

Serving as an outstanding mentor to new or younger officials.
Going above and beyond to officiate matches at tournaments as an R1 (e.g., to speed things up).
Staying behind to officiate a different court after their courts have finished.
Interacting well with a table crew (coach could recognize this).
Serving as a trainer or evaluator of officials at our events.
Being readily available and willing to work during times of heavy event activity.
Being self-sufficient.
Creating a welcoming & positive environment at our events.
