About The Program

CEVA seeks to partner with schools, clubs, community-based organizations, and other youth-centric initiatives to provide new and/or lightly used volleyball equipment at reduced or no cost to the recipient. All grant applications are reviewed by a committee made up of CEVA staff members and other stakeholders.

Preferred Partners & Selection Criteria
  • Previous recipients have included:
    • Elementary, middle, and high schools in the CEVA region, particularly Title I schools
    • Non-profit youth-centric organizations in CEVA’s footprint
    • Community organizations that serve youth, such as after-school programs, camps, etc, in CEVA’s footprint
    • Small, rural, or non-profit CEVA clubs
    • Facilities that have hosted, or can host, CEVA tournaments.
    • Generally, non-profit partners will be considered before a for-profit applicant.
  • Grants are not guaranteed and are based on availability, inventory, budget, and other factors.
  • Grant applications are evaluated based on several criteria, including (but not limited to) demonstrated need, location, previous receipt of grant awards, and standing in the CEVA region.
  • Not all applications will be awarded or funded. Some applications may be only partially granted.
