CEVA Announces Equipment Grant Program for Officials
BEAVERTON, OR (9/25/2025) – CEVA has announced a new program designed to put professional equipment into the hands of new and young officials for the region. The CEVA Officials’ Equipment Grant Program will provide basic officiating equipment to CEVA head officials free of charge.
Startup costs are one of the greatest barriers to entry for new officials. With more events and more demand for professional officials, it’s now more important than ever to reduce barriers to entry and create an easy pathway for officials to get started. Along with CEVA’s Membership Offset Program for officials, this is simply another step in CEVA’s commitment to having the strongest officials’ cadre on the west coast.
The Officials’ Equipment Grant Program will help officials get starter equipment, such as whistles, bags, cards, coins, and other basics they need to effectively facilitate matches and tournaments. The region will accept applications through an online form and will review them as they’re received. Equipment will be distributed closer to the season.
Officiating represents a way to give back to the game. Officials can set their own schedule, receive competitive pay, get in-person training from our veterans, and meet great people. Want to know more? Simply contact our office or fill out our Officials’ Interest Form to get started!
