CEVA Updates Boys’ Signing Date For 26-27 Season
BEAVERTON, OR (7/14/2026) – The CEVA Junior Boys’ Committee has voted to move this season’s tryout/signing date ahead to September 12. The vote was taken during the committee’s meeting on Monday.
The committee’s decision is meant to help the region align more closely with other USAV region’s schedules and maintain competitive opportunities for the region’s teams.
Clubs are not required to run in-person tryouts. September 12 represents the date that clubs may hold sanctioned in-person tryouts (if they choose to) and may sign athletes to a legally binding CEVA Letter of Commitment (LOC) for the upcoming season.
Adult memberships for the upcoming season will go on sale August 4, and junior memberships (e.g., for players) will go on sale September 1. Players are encouraged to purchase a tryout membership prior to committing to a team and then upgrade that membership once they’ve committed. Boys’ tryout memberships cost $25.
While the boys’ season schedule is still being discussed by the Junior Boys’ Committee, the hope is to announce the schedule on July 31.
